Eggs shipped via USPS Priority Mail Eggs are collected fresh daily and can ship Priority Mail or Priority Mail Express. I ship eggs Monday or Tuesdays to avoid having them sit in a Post Office over the weekend while fertility starts decreasing. Eggs collected rest of the week are available for local pickup. All our eggs are pre orders and once an order is placed, no refunds will be provided. I would love to guarantee same hatch and development rate for your shipped eggs, but unfortunately that is not possible when we trust a third party transporter. Fertility is tested bi-weekly in our incubators. I open up orders when fertility is at least 90% at home. Eggs movement and transit can interfere with egg condition. MANY things out of my control can interfere with your hatching rate (your incubator, the way you handle the eggs, etc!) I am more than happy to walk you through incubating techniques, best tested incubators, temperature and humidity that have worked best in my area. However, when people say hatching eggs are a gamble - they truly are, and they don’t say that to cover their bums for whatever reason. I had none hatch, or I had one chick hatch from a dozen eggs shipped to me, and I had 12 hatch out of 12 eggs shipped to me. It is how it is. If you do not want to take a chance on hatching eggs, please do NOT purchase. If you need to order eggs, payment is due at time of order. If my hens decide to go broody, your order will be pushed until I am able to collect from said pen. There are no refunds because your order won't happen by a certain date, hens lay at their leisure, I can only estimate delivery.
