Description: Offered is an elegant Haviland Limoges Feu de Four Chop Plate / Round Platter. The pattern, utilizing the not often seen Blank 638 with Gold 897 with an inner gold encrusted diamond band, features transfers of poppies exhibiting the typical bleeding/muted colors of the high firing temperature of the Feu de Four process. The chop plate measures 12 5/8" in diameter. There are no chips or cracks to be noted; the gold encrusted borders are in excellent condition. A couple ash flecks on the reverse. The whiteware mark is the green Haviland France with the blue/gray muted 'feu de four' mark. P20 If you have questions or need additional images, do not hesitate to contact the seller.
