Heavy Dramatic Antique Rajasthani Silver Hinged and Locking Bracelet c. 1925

Description: We have owned this dramatic heavy Rajasthani silver bracelet for many years. Its tapered circular shape features a section with a finely pebbled surface. The bracelet has a hinged gate the can be opened after its original hand formed screw is removed. Its external diameter is 4 1/2". Its slightly oval interior diameter varies from 2 1/2" to 2 1/4". I believe it to date to c. 1925-35. It is in excellent condition. The gate is a little stiff to get open but when closed the point where the gate joins is almost invisible. It weighs 247 grams. We have owned this fine bracelet for many years. Stock number SA2D-440
