No designated doll "name" on the tag. I obtained it from among a group of Marilyn Monroe collectibles the original owner amassed. However, not being a doll collector, I cannot say who the character is or whether it is intended to be a depiction of a specific individual. Date of mfg is 1960'sI have no idea what the head is made out of. It appears to be foam-like. Had some light dust on it so I lightly brushed it off and some traces remain. No cleaners or moisture used. There is one darker area on the top of the left hand and a spot on the hair in front (see photos) which can probably be cleaned by someone who has more knowledge than I do. (I grew up in the era of the original G.I.
