Description: Rare and Vintage Secretariat thoroughbred race horse Limited Edition Lithograph Print, by Helen Hayse, copyright 1989. This is an AP (Artist's Proof) version, which only a handful were made and very hard to find. (There were 500 signed and numbered prints made later.) Personally signed by Helen Hayse. Secretariat was Triple Crown Winner in 1973. 2023 is the 50th anniversary of Secretariat's Triple Crown Win. Pictured with his famous groom, Luther Jones. In great condition, stored flat and protected, never framed. Overall size of print is approximately 24" x 18 1/4", the image size is approximately 14 7/8" x 12 1/8". Only 500 of the numbered version existed, and only a handful of the AP version. A great and beautiful collectible print. This print has a very minor crimp on the right hand side of the bottom edge about 1/8" in from the side for 3 or 4 inches up the right hand side edge. Last photo shows how minor it is. Very hard to see and absolutely would be easily covered by matting. Just wanted to point it out. Ships insured rolled up in a heavy duty mailing tube (completely sealed in heavy duty clear tape for waterproofing).
