Description: This is a Henry Disston and Son #7 26" 7ppi Crosscut Saw ca. 1865 - 1871. This example is straight, has all of its teeth, has its original 'nib', and a very readable One Son etch with curled serifs. There is minor pitting and some discoloring throughout the blade. The blade measures 6 1/8" at the handle and 1 3/4" at the toe. The beech handle is well worn yet is firmly attached to the blade with only one surface crack on the front of the handle at the bottom saw nut. The One Son medallion is the singular feature that clearly identifies its age per the Disstonian Institute. The blade has been carefully cleaned and polished with Wizards Metal Renew and Polish. The Handle has been cleaned with Kramer's Antique Improver. I have taken a number of pictures of this saw, they are an integral part of my description, please look them over carefully for all the finer details they provide. I only accept PayPal. I only ship to the contiguous 48 States. Please email any questions. Thank You for Looking.
