Ltd., type KP48FP8G-504 geared stepper motor. Versatile 24 volt, geared stepper motor/generator. Two phase stepper motor with 3/25 internal gearing for large torque. Since this is a 24 volt motor with gearing, it also works great as a generator. Hand cranking the motor produces up to 100 volts peak! We were able to light up a NE-2 neon bulb from this motor! Windings can be combined in series or parallel combinations. Great to demonstrate the principles of electricity generation. We have used these motors in several projects, and they work great. Unipolar wiring - Phase A: white-green-pink, Phase B: blue-green-yellow. 95 ohms per phase. 7.5 degree/step = 48 steps per revolution. With the 3/25 internal gearing, it takes 400 steps to complete one revolution. Motor comes with a 30 tooth gear attached. The gear can be removed with a gear puller. Body is 1.88” diameter x 1.03”. L-shape mounting flange on one side, extended mounting tab on other side. Ribbed shaft measures 0.195 inches with our caliper. 0.62” diameter gear. Weight 5.4 ounces (155 grams).
