Description: A historic Bison lower jaw bone from the midwest. I haven't had it carbon dated, so it's impossible to say how old it is. This bone is likely from a bison that died with the last few thousand years. three and a half teeth are intact. You can see the neat brown patina in the photos. This has been preserved using paraloid b-72. There are some minor cracks, and it's missing the end of jaw.
