William Moseley; Song about "Captain Garmany's Fight" during the Creek war; Remarkable story of Austin Dabney, a mulatto, wounded at the battle of Kettle Creek; the Synodical Female College (illustrated), La Grange Female College (illustrated), and other educational facilities; The Burnt Village, a tale of the Indian Wars; The Thundering Spring; and other bits of history and trivia.
