Complete in two folio size volumes. Red cloth decorated with gold lettering and ornamentation. Illustrated with many full page plates pertaining to the United States Capitol, its architecture, plans and history. Previously owned by Dudley G. Wooten (U.S. House of Representatives,, etc.), who added his leather nameplate to the cover of volume one, and later (1924) presented the set to the Holy Names Academy, later to become Marylhurst University (closed 2018). Condition notes: Good condition antique books. Wear commensurate with age. Cloth fraying on corners and outside edges, mostly at the spine head and foot.
