It does have short less than 1 inch tears on many pages, a few pages have pencil writing, and old library stamps. The yellow book is in good condition. I don't see any tears or writing. I do not believe either book is missing any pages. Both are very readable, usable, and enjoyable condition. These books capture the imagination of young and older readers with wonderful stories about girls and their dolls.
