Created in celebration of Universal’s first monster-bash, this is another awesome resin model release from Mickey & Mallory Models. Captured here is Larry Talbot as lycanthrope, toting off the fainted-by-fright body of Ilonka the gypsy girl, just like in the film. Sculptor Chris Elizardo delivers a striking rendition of Lon Chaney in his revised Wolf make-up, with a deft handling of the balance between the two figures and crisp detail throughout. Flawlessly cast in solid white resin, M&M’s House of Frankenstein kit is also cleverly engineered for a simply assembly and easy prep. And look how fabulous the piece is when finished, as shown in the lead and end photos here. It's a 1/6 scale diorama that stands 9 ½” tall x 8 ½” wide x 7" deep when complete, including its thematic display base with movie-logo nameplate.
