Description: Hurricane Heat, Cool, & Defrost Complete System For 1973-79 Ford Truck [CAP-7479E-DS-AX]A/C Cab w/ Auxiliary Fuel Tank Switch, Driver Side Compressor. Electronic Integrated Switching**Disclaimer: If your vehicle has had modifications to it or require different brackets and/or compressor you may inquire a upgrade charge, if so we will need additional payment** HURRICANE HEAT COOL & DEFROST - Complete System For 1973-79 Ford Truck, A/C Cab w/o Auxiliary Fuel Tank Switch The Hurricane A/C, Heat & Defrost System is easy to install. The unit mounts to the firewall with a custom mounting plate using the original heater mounting holes. Heater & A/C hoses pass neatly through the firewall, through a rubber grommet, into the engine compartment. An all new electronic slide control fits into the original dash opening to operate the fan, A/C, Heat and Defrost Functions. Adapters connect the factory louvers to the Hurricane unit for an original appearance. A custom condenser assembly includes mounting brackets, receiver/drier and pre-formed aluminum lines to pass neatly through the core support. The included compressor has a Plain finish but upgrade for Polished or Chrome finish is available. The A/C hose kit that is supplied may be pre-crimped or universal depending on the engine application. A universal hose kit will require fitting and crimping the hoses to complete installation.
