If you just have a leak, 100% of these that I have sold have been the fix for the OEM O-ring leak. I would not recommend purchasing cheaper O-rings anywhere else. This O-ring is designed and cost more for a reason. Cheaper made O-rings can be found but are prone to premature failure. Depending on the material they can shrink, swell and possibly deteriorate causing leaks to occur. The material used to produce these O-rings has been tested for use with fluids used in Hydro-Gear Assemblies and has a much higher tolerance against these fluids, especially under varying operating temperatures. It is recommended because the O-ring channel is facing the ground, that you use assemblee goo to hold it in place. You can work it into place but be very careful that it doesn't slip out and get pinched. There have been a few people trying to copy my listing selling the cheaper O-ring in place of these, I try to keep them honest and some have been taken down.
