It's a beautiful lamb's fleece from one of last year's flock. Our Purebred Icelandic Sheep are raised naturally, grass fed with no chemicals. Lambs have a long and happy spring, summer and fall. After that some stay and become permanent residents, some go off to other farms, and some go to the shop. Regardless, we love them all and they have the best life possible. This fleece has a very beautiful color. The pile is at least 2". The sheep had been sheared before going to the shop, or wool would have been much longer. Fleece is at least 32" by 23".
