Description: Hello! We have here a real nice Icom IC-730 HF amateur transceiver. Unit came from an operator estate and is in great shape, a few blemishes, scratches on bottom and case, but top and face very clean! All controls work smoothly, lights and display nice and bright, no missing digits or lamps. This radio seems to work nicely! Both my wife and I have been using it for a few weeks for 10 meters, and have received nothing but compliments on it! Receive is nice, that classic tone, IYKYK. *The ONLY defect I could find with this unit is, the preamp appears to NOT be working. When the button is pressed, RX drops out. Operates just fine when in off position! We didn’t have any issues with it not working, as we dont use pre amps generally anyway. Although radio appears to be operating well, as with all used electronics, it is sold AS-IS. It is listed for parts as it is a vintage unit, all sales are final. We ship to the United States ONLY.
