Description: Up for sale are the first three volumes of Milton Caniff's Classic Strip. Sold individually, these retailed orginally for $49.95 each, with some volumes now likely out-of-print. Excellent Vf-NM condition. These were purchases at retail,-cherry-picked as much as I was able to- put on a shelf and never read.When I first got them, I put all the dust jackets into mylar protectors, and they've been covered ever since.Minimal to no shelf wear. Each book includes a substantial and illuminating foreward on the strips, Caniff, or the culture and current events the time. A stellar release from IDW, back when they were firing on all cylinders. The newer Clover Press release is well done also, but larger, heavier, and significantly more expensive. This is the most compact and economical way to read, and study, this all-time classic of the art form! The second set, containing the last three volumes, will be going up soon as well.
