I will simply say that the price of these based on the quality, is just a steal .... a Real Inlayed Wood Soundhole Rosette is simply the final touch to a great guitar. This unit is made from tiny pieces of exotic woods, just like a mosaic. Make sure of your measurements before buying. You may think that installing one of these is a difficult task.. it can be done two ways... since these are relatively thin, nothing stops you from gluing the rosette down around the soundhole.. use a good wood glue, Elmers glue, etc.. don't use a solvent glue like Superglue. Get it centered and then clamp around it with some small clamps, or lay a couple of books on top of it to weight it down. Next day, go over the rosette with some brush on clearcoat or tung oil.. this will bring out the natural beauty of the wood. Sure, it will not be flush with the guitar top, but who cares, It's going to look GREAT. Method 2, for the experts.. rout out a thin round circle the depth of the rosette, use the rosette as the template. Glue and clamp, let dry, finish. This is NEW mechandise.
