Description: Up for sale is a signed hardcover copy of Carl DiCapo's Italian Gardens: A History of Kansas City Through Its Favorite Restaurant published in 2010. The book measures just under 10" X 9" and is 207 pages in length. It is signed on the title page by Carl DiCapo with an inscription to the previous owner; another member of the DiCapo family (perhaps John?) has signed the corner of the opposite page, and this has left a bit of a yellowed "ghost" image on the title page. The dust jacket has minor edge and corner wear along with some notable sun-fading to the spine (photos 4 & 5) but there are no glaring flaws. The previous owner wrote his name on the first interior page, but there are no markings to the text. The hinges are tight and the binding is sturdy; overall the book is a fairly well-preserved, attractive copy.
