Description: This is a beautiful art glass bowl that is unmarked, but is most likely a piece of art glass made on the Italian island of Murano. It measures approximately 8” in diameter and 2 ¾” in height and displays the Sommerso technique that is used to create several layers of different colored glass that lay on top of each other without mixing. This piece features an open flower shape, a double petal rim, sporadic bubbles and is a combination of clear and raspberry glass flecked with gold adventurine particles. Despite a few minor scuffs/surface scratches and two small nicks on the petals, this pretty art glass bowl is in good condition with no other evidence of damage.
