Description: Listed here is a J.B. Owens, 3 ½” by 6” two handled “Utopian” two handled pot. The artwork was executed by Lisabeth Blake. Sources vary slightly as to the duration of this pottery line. This pot was produced between 1896 and 1907. This is Owen’s form number 936. The pottery shows signs of use. There is a small surface chip (1/16”) and a surface scrape in the glazed rim. The shallow chip can be seen in pictures 2, 4 & 5. The rim bruise may be seen in #3 & #6. A few clear glaze surface pits and short scratches exist. One handle has a small circular glaze scrape, below the camera’s light as shown in picture # 7. There are no other condition issues, and no repairs exist.
