Japanese Fighter Ace & P-39 Pilot Ace! Signed Aviation Art by, Ernie Boyette

Description: The Japanese "George" fighter was a heavy fighter that was used against the large American bombers. The powerful Japanese fighter was very effective against American fighters. Japanese Ace, Iwashita shot down five American fighters while flying the "George." Our prints are autographed in pencil by the pilot. Hang some history on your walls! These are great prints for young boys. Enjoy the stories under the artwork. It was an honor for me to have brought Japanese Heroes from Japan here to America to work with me on this project. This man is very special. He did shoot down more than five airplanes, but Iwashita was one of these men who was not a bragger or a "show-off." He was levelheaded. He spent most of the entire war leading a squadron. He was known for protecting his pilots from being shot down by the Americans! This man was good, he was quiet. He did his job. He never backed down. The George Fighter had two 20mm canon in each wing. When Iwashita hit any aircraft, it was definitely disabled weather he claimed its demise or not...he did his job and protected him men. Print size is 12x18" Published on heavy duty museum paper. I am an aviation artist and historian. I have worked with well over one hundred pilots from World War II, Korea, Vietnam and the present-day Desert Wars. This print was autographed by the Ace with a German graphic pencil, so the signatures always look fresh. I have a photo of Iwashita signing the prints at the Nimitz Museum in Texas. I thought that Iwashita would have signed his name in English, and I was SO PLEASED when I saw him sign my artworks in his language. I spent over three thousand dollars bringing Maruyama and Iwashita with three translators and assistants from Japan to America. Very expensive...thank you for considering my Japanese pilots in your Aviation Art collection. These are rare signatures. When I interviewed both men, I asked them where they were from, and they were from small villages we see in photographs of Japan. I asked them if they wanted to go to war with Americans...they said no...they added that they would have rather had a beer with the American pilots. They told me that bad leaders do bad things, and it is the young men who get caught up in the conflict...how true. Also enclosed is a Print of the P-39 Aero Cobra. Donald McGee was officially credited with shooting down three Japanese fighters in this Aero Cobra, Donald shot down two more, but they were off over the ocean where no one could help him claim his victories, so in essence, he did shoot down five Japanese fighters in this Amazing Aero Cobra! Donald McGee was sent back to the States where he trained new pilots and then he was sent to Europe where he shot down several German fighters to be an official American Ace! We have published 85 different poster prints. We have also published seventy-five limited editions prints that have been autographed by the pilots. I have something for everyone from Messerschmitt’s to Mustangs and F4 Phantoms to F-14 Tom Cats. I have worked with American pilots of all services. I have also worked with British, German, Japanese and Italian fighter and bomber pilots. Each and every pilot saw combat. We also have worked with the Tuskegee Airmen, The WASP, and the A.V.G.
