Jean Paul USA PRO Mark VI Type- Tenor Saxophone VINTAGE CUSTOM Lacquer.

Description: Jean-Paul custom lacquer design Tenor sax. Like New! Please be aware of the light reflection when photos are taken. it's a bit darker than the pics. This is a Vintage professional model. It is not a TS 400 lacquered student or intermediate model. The only ones made as MARK VIs were these Pro saxes. It is not made anymore. I'm selling it with an Otto Link 6* not ligature but in perfect condition. There are no bite marks on it, or if you prefer rubber Selmer C* this one with ligature and cap, I can give it away too. Long story short. I've been hearing about the quality and excellent job Jean-Paul has done on their professional saxophones for years. I saw 3 great players ( friends of mine ) using theirs as a backup, leaving at home their Mark VIs for just especially occasions. when I saw these top musicians playing a J.Paul I understood these are great saxes. This vintage-looking ( like mine IS A CUSTOM ) is hard to find 100% new as they are not built anymore, they were Sold out, but this one is practically new! It wasn't until the beginning of this year that I heard from a luthier who works for them that he had a NEW one stored for years in his store, so I became the first owner. Even though I had heard all the good things about these horns, I contacted Jean Paul to be sure. Below is a resumed answer ( copied and pasted for you ) after I sent him photos of my sax with the serial number. Copy and paste My question is about the un-lacquered tenor sax I bought.  It doesn't have anything on the body - just this N0. ( 2016122007 ) Is it true this design was built to copy a Mark VI, such as key positions, bell size, and other features in general? Be aware that they are not sold cheaply. They go up to $3000 and more. Among many finishes, such as gold lacquer, etc., I loved the original vintage matte. It looks even closer to the vintage Mark VI from the '60s. Jean-Paul is an American brand. Unless it's a vintage French horn, all saxophones nowadays, including the USA Selmer-Conn company, are ensembles in China or Taiwan. Now, don't underestimate some Chinese companies. I know a few that are doing an excellent job, and JP is one of them. This sax has been lightly used for three months. It is new, so that's the case. The case has a big pocket and can be used as a backpack. Everything you see in pictures came from the factory to give it its vintage style. This sax is not heavy, plays in pitch and smoothly from top to bottom, and feels comfortable. Feel free to ask any questions about the sax. You will receive exactly what you see on Photos. Thanks.
