Description: Jeep Cherokee (XJ) 97-01 passenger door latch repair & reinforcement plate with new bolts to replace the stock bolts. For 2 door and 4 door. Manufactured and sold in the USA. If you need a plate for a 93-98 Jeep Grand Cherokee (ZJ) please see my store. This will not fit a 1999-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee (WJ). This plate, machined out of 1/8" 6061 T6 aircraft grade aluminum, will allow you to repair the door and reinforce the door latch area without body work. This plate comes with 3 longer and stronger bolts to replace the 3 stock bolts which accommodate this version of the plate. In addition there are an additional 3 holes for screws or rivets for further reinforcement. Three self tapping screws are included with the plate. The finish has been changed from a brushed finish to a vibratory tumbled finish, please see the images.
