Description: This is a sale of a stunning vintage Infant of Prague Christ child chalkware Christian Catholic statue statuary shown with gold and white vestments and holding a globus cruciger in the left hand and wearing a metal and bejeweled gold crown (not attached). Beautifully hand crafted it stands 18" (floor to tip of crown) with finely detailed satin vestments.Believed to be made in Italy or Spain, but unmarked.Condition of the vestments are very good, no missing jewels. The Crown metal is flexible and can be shaped. It appears to me that the top tip of the crown should have a cross but this is partially missing.The chalkware figure has slight wear seen on the right hand and around to top of the hair, likely from repeated placement of the removable crown.This will be very carefully professionally packed for safe transit.Please review all the ENLARGED PHOTOS for more details.
