Look, everyone has heard of Joyo pedals. Many turn their nose up at them, but, IMO, they make some of the best clones of classic and boutique pedals. Built well, built to last and they don't cost much. This is one of the more flexible pedals from Joyo. I can highly recommend it for a wide variety of styles, from Blues to Rock and has the ability to venture into metal territory. It does beautiful leads as well as chunky rhythms. See last paragraph for more details. I bought two of these when I bought out inventory from a music store that went out of business. Both were new when I purchased them. The pedal you will be bidding on has been played twice by me inside my home studio. Last time was right before listing it. The pedal functions properly and sounds great. It has both a Preamp Overdrive and a Distortion control for the ability to blend both into your signal. But really, it's about the sound, and the Deluxe Crunch sounds massive and timeless. Less harsh than a Rat or Boss DS-1. A very fluid and musical effect that works with any genre of guitar playing. The Tone knob really changes the character of the sound, and minor adjustments can yield large variations in sound.
