It was most likely worn in a UEFA Cup or Coppa Italia game, though the specific match is not known, and they won both Cups this season. He is a legend of the game and considered one of the greatest players ever. He played for Italy at three World Cups, including USA 94 where he helped his side to the final, only to miss the decisive penalty in the shoot out. This shirt was obtained in person by myself from a very reputable collector based in Milan, who in turn had secured a large collection belonging to a former advisor and friend to several footballers based in North West Italy region in the ‘90s. Comes with a Letter of Provenance from the original owners detailing how the shirts were obtained etc, as well as a Letter of Provenance from myself detailing how I came into possession of the shirt. Unique piece of memorabilia. In Very Good vintage, match worn condition, compared to similar shirts of this age. The match day print has transferred some residue across onto the shirt material, which was a very common problem with these shirts and print. Size Adults Extra Large on tag.
