Description: This J W Pankhurst antique white ironstone platter is oval and has some depth to it to hold juices. It is in excellent condition with a shiny glaze and super minimal wear on the front. There are two scratches on the back, these are to the glaze, not deep. Please see my photos to see how nice this is. Hanley, England is in Staffordshire, where English ironstone was primarily made because of the natural clay there.
