High strength with stainless steel through pin for long lasting. Reversible Left or Right Handed - Supplied as right hand. Reversible by removing the through pin and washers, and reassembling on opposite sides of strap. The through pin's big cap should be on the top after installation to avoid falling off. Flush vs Offset - Flush: the door and jamb (doorframe) are at the same surface. Offset means the distance between the surface of the door and jamb (doorframe). Follow the picture instructions to measure the offset accurately. Mounting holes for #8 screws - Drilled and countersunk mounting holes for #8 (4.0 mm) Oval Head screws.
