Description: This is a Kelly Works Woodslasher Single Bit Axe Head. The name is visible in the photos but there is no model or weight on the axe head. It weighs 3 pounds, 15 ounces. It is 5 inches wide at the widest part of the blade and 7 7/8 inches long. Our best information is that the axe was made well before the 1960's because it does not have ridges for axe handle slot. The photos give a good description of the axe head but note that, while it is not brand new, it has had minimal misuse of the blade or pounding on the back.
