Some slight smudging on the cover, apparently from light handling. Binding is tight, pages are bright. Presentation page has NOT been written in. There are a few pages with yellow highlighting, though I only found this in the first half of the book of Genesis. There could be other highlighting, but I could not find any other. Gold gilt page edges are still shiny and show very little evidence of handling. My guess is that the previous owner read the first half of Genesis, and then stopped reading. So the vast majority of pages appear to be untouched. I am not a book exchange company or Goodwill, where books are played out or pretty much ‘well fingered’ and obviously handled a lot. I mail items surrounded by cardboard, unlike some sellers that drop it in a thin plastic bag and call it good. I want it to arrive in the same condition you see in the photos.
