THIS IS FOR A DEALER INSTALLED SYSTEM - THIS IS NOT FOR A FACTORY OR OEM SYSTEM Under driver side dash you will find the black alarm module box. In the wire harness connected to that box, you will find a black button. Turn the key to the on position, hold that button until the ds door locks and then unlocks. While still holding the button under the dash, hit the unlock button on your remote. The door will unlock to let you know you have done it right. You will have to program all remotes at same time, one after the other while still holding the button. Then let go of the button and take the key out of the ignition. You should be done and they should work fine. Module: This is the replacement remote for systems where the module is found with the FCC ID: GOH-717-JLK & GOH3YK-BTPRX on them. There may be other FCC IDs on the module but those always use this remote. __________________ Programming Instruments: Note: Each System module has four "slots", or memory locations, to store transmitter codes, giving it the ability to operate from up to four transmitters. For proper operation, a transmitter code must be stored into each memory slot. When using less than four transmitters, follow the suggested programming parameters: One Remote Transmitter -- Program four (4) times Two Remote Transmitters -- Program each transmitter two (2) times Three Remote Transmitters -- Program two transmitters one (1) time,and the remaining transmitter twice. 1. Open the driver's door. Drivers door MUST remain open and interior light on to enter into the programming mode. 2. Turn vehicle ignition on. 3. Press and hold emergency override button. After 10-15 seconds, the siren or horn will sound three (3) times. This indicates that the unit has entered the transmitter programming mode. Keep holding the button. 4. Press the ARM button on the remote transmitter to be programmed. The siren or horn will sound once, indicating that the system has "learned" that remote transmitter. 5. Repeat step 5 for any additional transmitters. 6. Turn the vehicle ignition off and release the emergency override button to exit the programming mode. Test all remote transmitters to ensure that they work properly by toggling the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons. It will only sync to a matching system; therefore, you cannot purchase a different type of remote than the remote manufactured with the system. It will not pair with a foreign system. Some vehicles have DIY (do-it-yourself) programming instructions available. While other vehicles require diagnostic programming which is available at your local qualified automotive locksmith or dealer.
