Description: Kim Carnes LP Lof of 2 Barking at Airplanes & Mistaken Identity Vinyl #685 LPs and grades in this lot as follows:Barking at Airplanes VG/VG- (deep scratch on side 2 song 4, otherwise VG)Mistaken Identity VG/VG+ All records sold in lots are graded visually only at a glance and are not cleaned. They may have some dust and fingerprints which are not considered in grade. These records are shipped just as I've received them, thus I'd recommend at least a dry brush cleaning before playing. The grade is for the vinyl itself, please note pictures for the sleeve. If there is a visual warp, that will be noted, but we don't test them on a table. Any inner sleeve or add ons are included, I try to picture those with the records. I try to take at least 1 picture of each record itself, and if one side has more prominent markings then the other, I picture that side. If the record does not have an inner sleeve, I will add one, so every record should have an inner sleeve. All records are in playable condition unless otherwise noted. A record graded VG- is a considerably flawed record that may skip on a low quality table. Records graded G+ or lower are assumed to have skips and other playback issues. If you are looking for excellent quality, individually cleaned records, carefully graded records delivered to you in new outer and inner sleeves, I'd recommend looking at my many other listings. Records will be shipped in cardboard records mailers via USPS media mail. Please see other auctions. We have purchased multiple lots of used records and have lots more listings coming. Combined shipping is available for all records and media mail purchased. Please add the items you want to your correct, then proceed to checkout, and combined shipping automatically will be applied. If you need any additional assistance with combined shipping, please utilize the "contact seller" feature on the item page. Media mail shipping for ANY amount is combined at only $7. If you check out individually, and items are sent together, I will automatically issue you a refund for cost in excess of $7. Please note that "original press," "original pressing" or "OG Press" are used to distinguish a record from a modern pressing or repressing after the original vinyl era. This does not mean the record is a 1st pressing exclusively. Please refer to Vinyl etchings on inner groove if you'd like to research specific pressings. If a pic of the inner groove has not been provided, please message and one will be sent. Record grading: Below are details of how records are graded. Records are graded conservatively and follow Gold Mine's grading standard. The vinyl grade is first followed by the sleeve grade. If there is a noticeable mark on the record, there will be a picture in the description following the picture of that side of the record. So, first will be a picture of the vinyl side A or B, then will be a closer picture of whatever flaw there is taken in a brighter, more direct light. Most flaws look more significant in the bright lighting then they really are to the records play. Sleeve grading is a bit more evident in the picture itself. I will never grade a used vinyl higher than a NM-. I will never grade a used sleeve higher then an EX+. Anything given those grades is the best one could expect for an open copy. Grades are as follows: SS: Still sealed: Record is in its original seal and has not been played. NM- Near Mint Minus. The highest grade I will give a used record. Shiny surface free from any visible mark. The only thing better is a new record in sealed shrink wrap. EX Excellent. Used to differentiate a record just barely not mint. Will have only one visible flaw that is certain to not effect playback. VG++ Very good plus plus; A great record that will have a very minimal amount of light visual marks on the disc with little to no effect on the sound VG+: Very good plus. The record has been played regularly and is showing minor signs of wear . Surface marks are evident and there will be minor audible clicks and pops VG: Very good. A well played, average record with more visible surface wear than above grades. Will have audible clicks, pops and surface noise but will play through without skips. This should be expected to be a flawed, far for perfect record. VG- : Very good minus. Deeper more apparent scratches or scuffs that will effect the play of the record, but should still play through without skips or interruption. The lowest grade I would list unless the record is particularly rare. This will be a considerably flawed record. G: Good. Heavy wear, deeper scratches and noticeable sound quality deterioration, possibly with distortion, loud clicks, and pops. Possible skipping. All of my products are thoroughly checked during the procurement, listing and shipping processes. I try to grade conservatively because I'd rather you be pleasantly surprised by the quality of a record then disappointed. Grades are, of course, subjective and I sometimes miss things. If a product isn't as described, I always issue returns with no hassle, so please message me to start the return process if you aren't 100% satisfied. In order to provide excellent deals and prompt service, I offer 30 day returns for any reason. I appreciate positive feedback! All products are shipped from a smoke free, pet free home. Previously owned products I normally don't know the origin of however, and it is possible these products came from homes with pets and smoking before I got them. Thank you for your understanding in these matters. My 100% positive feedback score shows that I take customer service very seriously, and you can always be confident that your purchase will exceed your expectations. Don't just take it from me! Here are just a few things customers have said about our shopping experience, all pulled from my feedback. "I bought quite a few records at one time, and Alex packaged each individual record beautifully, then put all inner packs in an outer box to ensure everything made the trip safely. I think he may have been a packaging engineer in another life. After all that, he consolidated shipping and sent me a refund. This is the kind of interaction, integrity and care that I take in my own business, so really appreciate recognizing others who do it right. If I could, I'd have given him a 6th star!!" "Excellent shape clean record. Fast shipping. Will be back!" "Thank you for the smooth transaction! Beautiful album!! Love it! Great communication" "Perfect!! Sounds great! Well packaged and fast shipping!!" "Thanks for nice records and quick service!"
