Vertical E track is designed for use in the trucking industry and is installed vertically on the walls of a trailer. It can also be used on the floor or horizontally on the walls of a motorcycle trailer - the slots are just positioned in a different direction, however there are fewer slots per foot. We think the vertical track on the trailer floor has great potential for an all covering repositionable wheel chock system. Stay tuned. The vertical "E" track accepts all series E and A end fittings. All of our "E" track "O" ring fittings, adapter straps. The "E" track is powder coated in a gray color. Vertical E Track (Powder Coated) Please note that 10' lengths can't be shipped UPS/FedEx Ground, only common carrier (tractor trailer), therefore impractical to purchase because of the expensive freight charge! We can UPS/FedEx Ground pieces as long as 8 ft. For floor installation we recommend installing with 1/4" bolts, lock-nuts, and fender washers (wide diameter). We like to install two bolts (one on each side of the flange) every 12 inches. The "E" track does an excellent job of displacing the weight. Wood screws are OK to use for installation, however we recommend two screws every 6 inches for this application. Hardware Kits (lock-nuts, bolts, & washers) are available in our eBay store.
