This steel contains 0.9-1.0% carbon, which makes it three times as hard as other knives in its class normally with 0.3% carbon. The main advantages of this material include improved overall rust resistance and blade hardness, achieving a hardness of 57-59HRC, and enhancing the sharpness of the cutting edge.
