Koni Special-Active Shock Absorbers recognise the road condition and your driving style and adjust themselves to provide the best ride and damper experience. You will find that your car will be more responsive and the ride will be smoother over imperfect road surfaces. Handling, comfort and grip will all improve with Special-Active. Koni performed extensive drive tests on cars equipped with OEM / Koni STRT / Koni Sport / Koni Heavy Track shock absorbers on the front axle and Special-Active shock absorbers on the rear axle and vice versa, and found that the positive effects of the Active technology were very noticeable in all combinations. Special-Active shock absorbers are designed to be used in conjunction with the original (OE) springs. Can also be used with lowering springs, but not recommended for aftermarket lowering springs over 30mm.
