With Wave Sequencing 2.0, we have separated the timing, sample, and melody (pitch) into separate tracks so each can be controlled separately. We also added new elements such as shape, gate time, and step sequencer values. Each of these is called a "lane," and each lane can have a separate number of steps, start and end points, and loop points. A note on starts the sequence, and information from each lane makes up the sound. Samples may be pronounced with separate duration, pitch, shape, gate time, and step sequencer values. The start, end, and loop points of each lane may also be modulated separately with controllers such as velocity, LFO, envelope, and mod knobs. This allows you to create sounds where each note of the chord changes separately. It is also possible to randomize the order of the steps in each lane with the real-time controls. Furthermore, steps can be randomly skipped by modulating probability from 0 to 100%. The resulting sound is organic and ever-changing with real-time control. You can also vary the wave sequence with the 4 arpeggiators. Massive samples, 96 stereo voices Totaling several gigabytes, wavestate's sample library is thousands of times larger than the original WAVESTATION.
