Description: Kathe Kollwitz (German 1867-1945) "March of the Weavers" the fourth plate of six in a series called Ein Weber aufstand (The Rise of the Weavers 1893-1897) this print is published by Alexander von der Becke Berlin. Signed with the impressed blind stamp lower right. Plate size is 8 7/16" by11 11/16" on a 12" by 16" sheet. The stamp reads: "A v. d. BECKE / KUNSTVERLAG / BERLIN - HALENSEE". Printed in warm black ink on beige wove paper and in very fine condition. The only imperfections are small crazing lines, under the mat. Please see pictures. The mat is included with the image. The print is not attached in any way to the mat of board. Uniform, original color of the paper.
