Description: Large 15“ x 13“ Victorian Scottish earthenware serving platter by J & M. P. Bell & Co. done in a beautiful soft gray color. Excellent condition for its age, it has no cracks or chips, but does have minor knife marks and stains commensurate with age. It features, a classical scene of a charioteer proclaiming victory, amidst temples and palm trees. One of Bell’s most famous patterns, based on a drawing by Sir David Roberts.
