Description: A stunning large size English Regency/William IV rosewood footed tea caddy. A rosewood veneered sarcophagus shaped tea caddy raised on original flat wood bun feet. The base, lid, and interior accented with turned gadrooning. The caddy has two drop ring handles and a large brass key escutcheon. The interior has two lift out containers and a central bowl accented in birdseye maple veneer. The caddy is very well constructed and in very good condition. The bowl is an ill-fitting replacement that is to small & (needs to be replaced). There is a lock (no key). All decoration is intact. The lid lays nice and flat.
