Large Vintage Whiting Davis / ELASAH Enamel Pattern Metal Mesh Tile Purse

Description: 800x600 Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Vintage Whiting Davis / ELASAH Enameled Metal Patterned Tile Mesh Oversized Purse Offered is a lovely large Whiting&Davis / ELASAH enamel tile purse that is in excellent condition. The soft color pallet is made up of light green background tiles with abstract runners of black, white, pink and yellow running throughout. There is a large unique center design that reminds me of an angel (or maybe a Christmas tree with lights) done in pink, yellow, black and white with a small accent of turquoise. The body of the mesh is in pristine condition. There is no apparent overall enamel loss to the tiles (I see only 3 bottom tiles with some enamel loss). The silver-tone curved frame is embossed with a crisscross pattern on both sides with a slight vintage patina. “Whiting Davis Co” and “ELASAH” is stamped on the inside of the frame. The frame is straight and closes properly. The twisted infinity/figure eight chain provides a 6” drop from the top of the clasp. The lovely enameled tile mesh is tight all around the frame as it should be including under the hinge area. The skirt of the purse continues with a white diamond “rick-rack” style pattern with white, pink, and black spears pointing to the bottom. There is no damage, loss of color, loose or missing tiles or connectors. The purse has a replaced silk lining that appears in good condition. The purse measures approximately 5” hinge to hinge by 9 5/8” top of clasp to bottom. Please View All of the Pictures as They Are Part of The Description.
