Description: This is a large and important cut glass vase. My Dallas glass expert tells me it is Bohemian. The only thing I could find similar was by Lobmyer -- hence my attribution (it's a stretch for me -- not my area of expertise). It comes from an estate where everything was 18th - 19th century antiques of the finest quality. We've now exhausted what I know about this. If you're a collector, you will no doubt immediately see the unusual nature and importance of the piece. Feel free to message me - I truly would like to know more about this because I've never seen anything like it, and I've been in this business for a very long time!Uranium green portion glows under a black light. Condition: Excellent giftable condition. Only mentionable issue is non-visible scratches on the base as might be expected if it was slid across a shelf, commiserate with age. No chips, flakes, breaks, mends, repairs, cracks, hairlines, blemishes, or mentionable boo-boo's. No discolorations or residues. Don't feel anything amiss when I run finger around edges. Dimensions: 11" Tall x 4.75" top diameter. Green base is 4.5" tall x 4" wide x 4" long. Red portion is 7" tall. Unpacked weight: 4 pounds, 11 oz. Always happy to pass through discounts on combined shipping. I only charge actual postage, and always use recycled packing materials. Note some photos appear redundant because I take photos from all possible angles. On symmetrical items, these photos may appear redundant when there are no distinguishing differences or condition issues between side views. I gladly accept returns, but please note I do not pay return postage unless there was a significant error in my description. The item listed is being sold as is, as pictured and as described to the best of my knowledge. All dimensions and weights approximate. If you have a question or an assumption on an item prior to purchase, please ask. I much prefer to take the time on the front end to make sure you will be satisfied with your purchase. Remember, when buying vintage expect imperfections as these items have a history and have been in the possession of others. I try to list EVERY flaw which would be commented on something in an antique or vintage condition – this does not mean all imperfections resulting from normal wear & use require comment. My goal is to have no rude surprises upon receipt.
