This lens is in Excellent++ condition and shows very slight signs of use. There are no major dings, dents, or any heavy scratch mark shown on the lens barrel. The optic is pretty clean and clear except for a few long scratch marks and one chip mark shown on the front optic. These marks located near to the word Leitz & Gmbh at 4 & 5 O'clock area and you can see them from the detail pictures. However I didn't see any affect to the image quality from all of my tested pictures and the images are very nice too. It focuses smoothly and the aperture click stops are crisp. The lens blades are clean and its oil free. It is in excellent working order and is ready to use. You won't often see many of this later type Summarit M lens for sale, so if you are in the market for one of these lenses then here is a great opportunity to acquire one for a good price.
