The blade has a steel backing for fatigue resistance. It can make cuts in solid shapes. The blade is available with a choice of variable pitch or constant pitch. The variable pitch has a variable tooth size and gullet depth to reduce noise levels and vibrations, and to remove chips efficiently. The constant pitch has uniform tooth spacing and gullet size for general-purpose cutting.
