Description: OLD ESTATE VINTAGE STERLING SILVER NATIVE AMERICAN NAVAJO ARTIST LEONARD PLATERO SIGNED RANGER BELT BUCKLE AND TWO KEEPERS— This pre-owned sterling silver belt buckle set is in good true vintage condition. It shows the slightly darker natural oxidation that is characteristic of aged sterling silver surfaces. The main buckle is signed by the maker, Leonard Platero, a well known Navajo silversmith. It functions perfectly. The main buckle measures 2 1/2” x 2” and has an opening to accept straps up to 5/8” wide. The two keepers have openings of 7/8” wide. It features hand stamped designs that remind us of a headdress or sunburst pattern. It is quite nice and highly detailed.
