Description: This Leybold Sogevac SV 16, SV 25 vacuum process engineering pump, was brought back from Japan Dec of 1999, by a man that was stationed there. He put a piece of paper stating oil was drained. Add oil before using or else! So i believe it did work when he brought back. It has been in storage ever since. So im selling as part or repair, just in case and because the back is damaged, as shown in pictures. The book has a torn spot all the way through the book, but nothing is missing.
