Description: Offered today are two uncommon releases by celebrated New Wave band The Fixx. First is Fixx3 (1982), featuring the songs Red Skies and Is It By Instinct, on translucent red vinyl in the original clear plastic sleeve. This UK-issued disc was not offered in the US. The label on Side A includes a photo of lead singer Cy Curnin, and Side B label shows all the song details. Condition is VG+. Note: the b-side track was not released on any Fixx album (eg, Shuttered Room, reach the Beach, etc.) and is only available on variants of this single. Second is a double-disc UK release FixxD5 in a gatefold sleeve (1983), including the songs One Thing Leads to Another, Opinions, Red Skies, and Stand Or Fall, a veritable “best of” EP from the band’s early days. The condition of the discs and sleeve is VG to VG+. As shown in the pix, these are black vinyl with silver injection labels. Neither of these releases were available stateside and they are each very hard to find in North America. The asking price is due to the rarity and good condition of these examples. If you’re a collector of The Fixx, colored vinyl, double-disc EPs, or just a fan of the band, this is a lot which is unlikely to be duplicated in the USA. Both releases will be delivered in protective sleeves. Please feel free to ask questions. Thanks for your time, Brad
