The Mac bandmates rediscovered their creative bond after McVie rejoined the group's lineup in 2014. The album offers what both partners see as the sensible - and long-overdue - culmination of a long-term partnership. "We were exploring a creative process, and the identity of the project took on a life organically," explains Buckingham. "The body of work felt like it was meant to be a duet album.
