Description: A unique, one-of-a-kind item! This is a custom painted and decorated Lionel 9200 Series Spokane, Portland & Seattle Double Door Boxcar. This beautiful custom car is in like new, apparent unused condition. It has die cast, sprung trucks on a Lionel 9200 series boxcar and frame. The lettering on the car are decals that are excellent. The markings on the ends of the car lead me to believe it originally was manufactured in the 1970's during Lionel's FunDimensions period. I asked the folks at the Lionel Collectors Club of America to see if it was listed anywhere, and they could not find it. It also is not listed in the Greenberg Guide or anywhere here on eBay. If you're a collector of custom cars, this one is for you! NOTE: the box is not from the same time period as the car.
