Description: Up for sale is a Lionel type r transformer(100w) and whistle controller.The transformer has a new power cord,two modern circuit breakers,I replaced one binding post and all brand new binding post nuts,new case screws,nameplate rivets.I also rebuilt one of the voltage control shafts.The whistle has a new 20 amp diode.The transformer was completely taken apart.The 100w transformer was produced only in 1946.The 110w type r was produced in 1947.
